Hello,
is it general possible to place a tab strip within another tab strip?
For example:
create DB
create maintab (A,B,C)
create subtab (AA,BB)
create frame
attach maintab->form
attach frame->maintab
attach subtab->frame

Update:
I tried to play a little with DXL and it seems that my subtab will be created, (I get a debug print from the subtab on interaction box)but it won't be displayed.
I also tried to attach a radioBox, a frame and a textfield DBE and they are attached to the maintab and displayed without any problems.
When I disable the maintab the subtab will be created and operates normal.
Does anyone have an idea what else I can try?

Hi,
Quick answer is: try setting one tab as the parent of the inner tab. I will try to get code example when I have more time. Sorry.

Hi Doug,
what do you mean by "setting as the parent"? I thought I'm only able to attach DBEs to something?
No problem with the code example it doesn't hurry. I solved it by omitting the subtab. But I will look here from time to time.
Thx and regards

Using the setParent() function you can set a DBE as a parent of another DBE. This is needed when placing a tabstrip within another tabstrip. Otherwise the GUI does not get painted properly and callbacks won't fire properly.
